CITIES are proud to welcome eight new partners

CITIES are proud to welcome eight new partners. The new partners are:

Krüger A/S: Will help with studies, evaluations, and demo projects related to wastewater treatment.

Kamstrup A/S: Will help with studies and demo projects related mostly to data-driven and IT-intelligent district heating systems.

Hvide Sande Fjernvarme: Will help to implement, test and evaluate solutions for optimal operation of district heating systems.

Vestegnens Kraftvarmeselskab (VEKS): This DH transmission system operator will help evaluating and possibly testing some of the forecasting and optimization tools developed for district heating systems.

NorthQ Aps: Will help testing and evaluating solutions related to the use of meter data and energy management systems.

University of Zagreb: Will help to test and evaluation of some of the Smart City solutions. The university will also help with dissemination activities.

Tomorrow ApS: Will help with testing smart control methodologies that aim at accelerating the green transition. Tomorrow is a leading company on providing real-time CO2 signals for optimal control and optimization.

Novasol A/S: Will help with testing methods for forecasting and smart control of summerhouses. They will use the digitalization hub established as a part of CITIES.

The new partners join a successful scientific project that has already published three times more scientific results than promised in the application, and the number of educated PhD students and PostDocs will also exceed the promised number from the application.

However, CITIES still needs to demonstrate some of the CITIES solutions, and with the addition of new and resourceful partners, CITIES set the best team for the demonstrations during the last period of the project.
