Henrik Madsen is key-note at Korean Smart Grid conference

Prof. Henrik Madsen is key-note at at the International Federation of Automatic Control (IFAC)’s workshop on Control of Smart Grid and Renewable Energy Systems, June 10-12, in Jeju, South Korea.

Title : How to use AI and Big Data Analytics to Control the Future Smart Grids

His talk will describe a methodologies for controlling the electricity load in future integrated energy systems using big data analytics, cyber physical models, IoT, and cloud computing. The message will be, that we shall focus on methods based on big data analytics for characterizing and enabling the energy flexibility in, e.g., buildings, supermarkets, wastewater treatment plants. This will create a framework to control the power load in integrated energy systems, and by using online-predicted values of the CO2 emission of the power production, the framework provides a way to accelerate the transition to a fossil-free society.
